Frequently Asked Questions: Digital Document Delivery

1. What is digital document delivery? How do I set it up?

We all know how important having insurance protection is—well, it’s just as important to have the documents to prove it! With digital document delivery, we’ll be able to share your insurance documents with you by email for easy, ongoing access to the information you need.

As for setting it up, it’s as easy as making sure we have your current email address on file! If you prefer to communicate digitally, let your broker know and we’ll start sending the docs you request via email.

2. What kinds of documents will I receive over email?

We’ll start sending your documents digitally wherever applicable (and requested). Policyholders have the option of receiving physical insurance documents and other necessary forms for personal and commercial insurance contracts to their email inbox.

For those with mid-term or monthly payments, billing reminders can be set up for an easier payment experience. Find out how to make payments online at the link below.

3. Is the digital document delivery process safe?

Insurance documents are legal contracts, which makes them important to read, keep and have access to. We use secure platform technology to make the document delivery process safe and easy for you.

You’ll still be communicating with your local broker when you receive your documents digitally. When you reply, your email will go to the team member associated with your policy. Our online sales team is here to help with other requests, too!

4. Will I still receive my documents in the mail?

If you prefer to get the hard copies of your policy documents in the mail, that’s definitely still an option. For convenience, you can also get your docs by email first and have the paper copies sent for your physical files.

Let us know how you’d like to receive your documents, and we’ll make it happen.

5. Can I do all communication by email?

We’re excited to deliver the information you need quickly, and make easier online access available. We recommend still giving us a call if you require immediate assistance.

If you need to make an insurance claim, we’re here to make the process easier. Contact your local broker.
