NS Healthcare Hero: Danika Nelson

“I would like to nominate Danika Nelson for your Healthcare Heroes campaign.

I see many paramedics in the emergency department in Truro (in my role of Commissionaire) and she always exemplifies the values of professionalism and kindness with her patients. She is always very dignified and respectful of her patients and honours all confidential information.

Danika is also a long time volunteer firefighter in Brookfield and is a wonderful representation of what a knowledgeable, community minded health care professional should be. She is amazing.”
