NS Healthcare Hero: Erin Clarke & Misty Hynes

“These ladies are my fellow LPN coworkers at VON Halifax. They work hard every day to provide medical care in clients homes during a pandemic. Whether decked out in full PPE or in a mask and shield they walked into unknown home environments not knowing what they may encounter but determined to provide the same care they would want for their own family members.

They are advocates, educators, healers and above all else compassionate, hardworking nurses. These ladies deserve recognition for the long hours and the high level of care they gave during a pandemic that was not only scary but created a 10 fold workload. I’m blessed to work with such amazing nurses.
