NS Healthcare Hero: Heather Shepherd
“I’m nominating my mother-in-law Heather Shepherd. Heather is a Continuing Care Assistant in Cape Breton at Northside Homemakers. She is an amazing person, she is so compassionate and cares deeply for her clients. Heather goes above and beyond and forms bonds that she talks about with pride.
I love hearing Heather about the relationships she has formed and the clients she serves that she treats like family. She is a very special person and deserves to be recognized for all of her hard work and the care she provides to her clients.
Attached are photos of Heather, including a photo in PPE during the pandemic with her colleague and “bestie” Patricia Devoe. Patricia also deserves to be recognized for her hard work.
