NS Healthcare Hero: Karen Hall

“I nominate Karen Hall. Karen works with Von as an LPN and has been recognized for her attitude towards patients and desire to go the extra mile. As an immigrant who moved here from Jamaica, she had to go through a lot to get her license accredited, and had to take up CCA jobs in the interim, while struggling as a single mum.

I watched her navigate everything and still put on a big smile which left her patients and employers impressed. She is an epitome of Canada diversity champions and a huge contribution to our health care system in Nova Scotia.”
