NS Healthcare Hero: Lucas Cummings

“I would like to nominate my husband Lucas Cummings. I am so proud of the time and compassion my husband puts into his work and the residents. Lucas works at the Hants Community Hospital where he has worked for nearly a decade. He cares so deeply about the residents his coworkers which is why this nomination is so fitting for him.

Lucas goes above and beyond at work to make sure the residents feel safe, loved and understood. It will never get old to hear a high praise from a family member of a client or a client that my husband has cared for or does care for, he truly is the definition of “caregiver”. Thank You Lucas and all the other wonderful caregivers who make our world a better place.”
