NS Healthcare Heroes: Maureen & Scott Sturgeon

“I would like to nominate all paramedics out there but I am particularly proud of Maureen & Scott Sturgeon.

A husband and wife team who both work in HRM and while doing their best to take care of others, protect their own family and stay sane during these tumultuous times. The pair also volunteered to organize the annual NS Paramedic golf tournament in August. Funds raised will go to Golf Fore The Cure, a breast cancer fundraiser. Recognizing that charities are struggling this year too, they wanted to do their part to help a cause that has affected so many.
