NS Healthcare Hero: Zoe Christopherson

“I would like to nominate my beautiful daughter Zoe. She works at Dykeland Lodge. She has two small children at home but works overtime at least 2 to 3 times a week leaving her husband in charge. Zoe is loved by all the residents in the lodge, not only the ones in her care, but also the ones she spends a few minutes with or stops to chat with and take the time she knows is so important.

Before COVID-19, she was always handy with a hug and a shoulder when a resident or staff member needed one. Zoe exemplifies a true ‘care worker’, she has a large heart and her empathy is genuine.”
