NS Healthcare Heroes: Brian Thibodeau & Sherry Deveau

I want to nominate two paramedics that are my familys heroes. Brian Thibodeau and Sherry Deveau are based out of the EHS Meteghan (Yarmouth) base.

On the morning of June 8th, 2021 our mother, aged 83 at the time, suffered from chest pain. Brian and Sherry arrived at the house, and our Mom was transported into the waiting ambulance and had a VF arrest requiring shock. Brian and Sherry kept our Mom alive until they were able to meet up with another ambulance on route.

A lot of teams saved our Mom that day; the ER staff at Yarmouth Regional Hospital; the EHS LifeFlight team but Brian and Sherry were the initial team to get Mom to hospital. They are our heroes and we are so thankful; words cannot express.
