NS Healthcare Heroes: Kim McBurnie & Michael Wilson

I would like to nominate two people for your Healthcare Heroes campaign. Not only are they both paramedics, they are also life partners and very good friends of mine. Kim McBurnie and Michael Wilson are two of the most caring and knowledgeable people in their profession.

My family has had the unfortunate task of calling 911 twice in the past 6 months for 2 different emergencies that required paramedics and although Kim and Mike were not the paramedics assigned to our calls, they both provided me with much comfort during and after our emergencies.

Their compassion and professionalism goes beyond their regular work hours, which by the way often includes overtime. Honestly, all EHS paramedics are worthy and deserving of being recognized but Kim and Mike hold a special place in my heart so they are my nominations.
