Great Insurance Options for Yarmouth Residents

Living in a unique part of the world usually means that residents do not have the typical insurance needs. For customized solutions that fit any and all Yarmouth residents, AA Munroe insurance provides exactly that. With offices throughout Nova Scotia, customers know that they are working with a team that understands the needs of different types of residents.

Specifically for Yarmouth, a port town right on the Bay of Fundy, there are unique needs that many locals have (and we can meet).

Yarmouth Boat Insurance

For an area known for fishing, and specifically lobster fishing, there are plenty of people who spend significant time out on the water in Yarmouth, NS. Having quality boat insurance in Yarmouth is necessary, either as a business owner or someone who is out on a boat for pleasure. At AA Munro, an insurance solution is as easy to find as ever.

Everything from the boat’s size to how often a person goes out on the boat can affect insurance policies. There is also the option to get full coverage, or the bare minimum to provide a little peace of mind. The team at AA Munro is available to go through all of the different solutions and find what works.

Yarmouth Auto Insurance

With an extreme location on the southwestern side of Nova Scotia, Yarmouth residents rely on their car to get around to other parts of the province. Not only that, but getting around the local area usually means relying on cars as well. For full coverage on the road, quality Yarmouth auto insurance is crucial.

Coverage is very affordable for families who want to have the bare minimum coverage if something catastrophic happens. There is also the opportunity to get significant coverage for added protection if anything goes wrong. Working directly with an agent means that most individuals can get more coverage than initially thought, while sitting under a specific price point.

Home and Commercial Property Insurance

As Yarmouth County’s hub, many people are aiming to protect their investment as much as possible. Whether it is their home or commercial property, insurance is important to ensure that investment is protected properly.

Understanding unique needs in an area like Yarmouth matters significantly as well. Home and business owners need to be properly protected if anything goes wrong, and knowing by working in the area for years makes a difference. If a person ever has any questions or concerns about whether or not specific coverage is needed, relying on years of data in the area can calculate risk.

Mariea Deveau-Titus, CIPInsurance Broker
I found out that retirement was not for me, so I’m back in the workforce. I’ve worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, mostly in claims, and received my CIP certificate in 2000. Spare time is spent volunteering at the hospital, attending Wanderers’ soccer games in Halifax and “catering” to my demanding two English Bulldogs. Life is good.

I started my career in the insurance industry in 1997 and joined AA Munro in 2020. The best part of being an insurance professional is being able to advise my clients and help them understand the ever-changing insurance world.

Originally from Reserve Mines, I moved to the Municipality of Clare in the fall of 1989 and have resided here ever since. I live in the small community of Mayflower with my husband, Cedric, and our two children; Sarah and Joel.

When I am not at work I love being home on the lake in the summer and chasing the hockey rinks during the winter months. I also enjoy connecting with friends and family as well as volunteering on two community boards.

I’ve been in the insurance industry since 1999, specializing in home and auto insurance. My passion is helping others, and I’m excited to continue my career at AA Munro. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 2.5 year old grandsons, River & Remy. In the summer, you can more than likely find me on a
beach with a good book.
